Today was Brandon's birthday and we had a snow day!! We did most of our birthday celebrating the night before because Brandon was supposed to have a meeting after work today (which got cancelled because of the show!).
The kids and I had a lot of fun doing various activities. We put up the playhouse tent in the basement and filled it with blankets and books, we did a snowman craft with marshmallows and drank hot chocolate, we watched a movie with popcorn, we played with shaving cream and we made snow ice cream. What a day! Now we just found out that there is another snow day tomorrow. Hope I can find a few more things in my arsenal!

Bryant is 2 months old
Bryant is 2 months old today! He is a really happy little guy! We are seeing tons of smiles and he also is making some new coos and giggle sounds. He loves to be held, but also likes looking at his "friends" on his exercise mat. He does okay in the swing for short periods of time, but doesn't love it. His sleep is all over the place. Some nights are awesome! For example, last night he went from 9:40PM-7:15AM and I only got up with him once at 3:45. Awesome! However, the night before that I was up with him at 11:30, 2:00 and 5:15. You never know what you're going to get, but hopefully he starts getting more consistent with the longer stretches!

SNOW!!
Last night there was only supposed to be a chance for flurries. When Brandon and I came home from dinner at our friends' house, it was snowing really hard! We woke up to a few inches of snow. The kids couldn't believe it. FINALLY enough snow to play in! Brandon took them out to play (they're actually still out there as I type). They sledded down our front hill for the first time. It's not the quickest hill in the world, but they had fun and it was so funny to watch! I have a couple videos that I'll try to post, but I have to get them off my phone first.
Miles is 3!
Miles turned 3 on 1/26. Two days later he had his checkup. His stats are:
38.5"- 75%
34#- 75%
He's my big, solid guy! He's now really into superheroes. He loves to pretend to be Spiderman, Batman or Superman. He's learned how to hold his hand correctly as Spiderman to shoot his web. Now we're having to have the conversation- when we get to school and your teacher opens the door, the first thing you do cannot be shoot her with a web! Same goes for when people come over to our house! ha!
His birthday was fun. He opened a few gifts and we took him to Toys R Us to pick out his first real bike with pedals. He chose a Buzz Lightyear bike, and he got the hang of the pedals right away!
We also made some cake pops for his birthday which the kids loved!
He will have a birthday party later in February, so stay tuned!

Polly Pocket and Spiderman visit the construction site from Grandma Joje and Pa
The ladies at the toy store talked me into this driving toy saying all the 3 year old boys love it. I thought it seemed weird, but Miles actually really likes it!
Bennett as close as she can get to Bryant- of course!
The kids gobbled the fruit from the edible arrangement from Grandma Joje and Pa!
Totally getting the hang of the Buzz bike right away!
Cake pops! YUMMY!
And Bryant took a bottle from Brandon on Miles's birthday too. Yay Bryant!!
