Circus and new tricks

This morning, Bennett, Miles and I went to Circus Flora with two of Bennett's friends, their moms, and one other baby brother. It's nice because the circus has a show called "little top," that is geared toward younger kids. It's only an hour, it's at 10AM instead of at night, and it's half priced tickets. Although they didn't understand everything that was going on, the girls had a lot of fun. Bennett claimed that the "girls tumbling" (AKA the acrobats) were her favorite part. She also really got a kick out of the trapeze artists. The circus claimed to be in an air conditioned tent. However, considering it is 93 degrees with a real feel of 103, the tent still felt like it was at least 90. Miles was a real trooper through it all, and it ended up being a great (though sweaty) time.

Miles has a few new things to report as well. Last night was the first time we moved his little bathtub into the real bathtub instead of the sink. He has become a pro at splashing! He lifts both his legs and slams them down as hard as he can, and the water flies!! Miles is also getting really strong! He is starting to sit up by himself. He can do it for a few seconds, but then will tip over. He really wants to sit up in his bathtub and his car seat now though, so he's always struggling and trying to lift his head forward.
Happy because he now has room to splash!!

He also started chewing on his toes today. I always think that stage is kind of gross, but also funny, and I'm amazed by the flexibility!
mmmmm, Toes!

Who needs toys when you have toes?
