Bennett's Birthday and trip to Spokane

Bennett turned 5 on Thursday! We left that morning for a 5 day trip to Spokane.  The weekend before her birthday, Brandon and I gave her a big-girl scooter and a pink soccer ball.  I think both will get lots of use this summer! On Wednesday, she got to bring treats to school for her birthday, and then we celebrated with Nana and Papa in Spokane with some yummy chip mint dessert! She is still looking forward to her birthday party with her friends on the 19th, too.  So much excitement! On our plane ride, Brandon told the flight attendant that it was Bennett's birthday, and they made her a crown made of peanut bags and toothpicks.  It was so cute and she got a lot of birthday wishes as she wore that around various airports!

 Bennett is not a big "cake fan" so mint chip ice cream dessert was just perfect for her!
