Wedding Weekend!

Meredith and Chris got married!! It was such a fun weekend! The rehearsal dinner was lovely, wedding day was beautiful despite the rain, and it was even followed up by a yummy brunch on Sunday! We owe so much thanks to Nana and Papa for coming in town and helping with the kids.  With Brandon and me, plus the two big kids in the wedding, we truly couldn't have done it without them carting kids back and forth and taking care of Bryant.  Bryant still isn't taking a bottle, so that was interesting feeding him throughout the wedding day, but we made it work! Bennett and Miles did a great job walking down the aisle.  Miles took holding his pillow very seriously.  He wouldn't put it down the entire ceremony or on the trolley.  I was proud of him for doing such a good job.  I think it was because he had Bennett, the flower girl pro, at his side! I only have a few pictures so far, many more to come!!
On the way to the rehearsal.

An attempt to make it a family photo- oh well, we tried!

Bennett got to get her hair and makeup done with the bride and bridesmaids.  An almost 6-year-old's dream come true!

 Miles loved the trolley!

haircut and the Hulk

Bennett was begging for short hair, so we finally did it! She is so proud of her new haircut, and I think it looks really cute! Perfect for summer, and she loves that there are no more bad tangles!

Miles is really obsessed with superheroes! Here he is in his new Hulk shirt, and he's showing his muscles- obviously!

Bennett's track meet

Bennett had a track meet this morning.  It was for 3 local schools, St. Peter, St. Gerard and Ste. Gen.  There are only a couple Kindergarten girls participating in track, and everyone else is older.  Bennett is by far the tiniest one there, but she did great! She had a lot of fun too.  She participated in the 50m, 100m and 200m running races, and the standing long jump.

Daddy/Daughter Dance and 4 months

Last weekend, Brandon and Bennett went to the Daddy/Daughter Dance at her school.  They met a group of girls and their dads at a restaurant first for dinner, then headed to the dance.  Bennett had so much fun!

Bryant turned 4 months on the 6th.  Lately, he has started reaching for objects and pulling them.  He is also drooling like crazy! He will hopefully be getting some teeth soon.  He constantly has something in his mouth.  He has still been getting over his RSV type illness.  Now it has just moved to some post nasal drip but the poor guy has been waking up a couple times a night with giant coughing fits.  Before that, he was sleeping like a champ.  So hopefully we will get back to that soon!

His 4 months stats:
Height: 25.5"- 75%
Weight: 17lbs, 2oz. - 90%

Bennett insisted on jumping in on the photo shoot!

Snow/Florida/Easter

March 24th we had our biggest snow of the year.  Crazy! Brandon and the kids built a pretty awesome snowman, though!Just 4 days after that we were relaxing in sunny Florida.  Talk about a temperature swing!

We spent Easter in Florida with a few days on either side.  Bennett and Miles swam no less than twice a day, we played on playgrounds and hit the beach once.  Bryant didn't visit the beach this trip.  We just took the big kids which was very fun because then Brandon and I could both make sandcastles, go shell hunting, etc.  Grandma tried numerous times to get Bryant to take a bottle, still to no avail.   Ugh!

Bennett finally got to try out her mermaid tail from Santa.  She loved it and got the hang of it right away!
